The student and I worked on the three cases, Nominativ, Akkusativ und Dativ. I worked with him specifically so that he can identify how elements in a sentence are related, and that he can see what case the sentence has. Does the verb describe the subject directly (Nom) or does it describe the subject's relation to the object (Akk)? He also learned more details about the changes of direct and indirect articles in relation to their cases. We then revisited yesterday's exercise, and this time he was able to identify cases correctly and find the correct article.
