I am an American from a chihuahua sized state," Connecticut" The State is 118 miles long, East to West, and 47 miles at its maximum , North to South. I have spent
all my early life and early part of my career in Connecticut and New York City.

It has taken me many years of wandering to get to what I do best: building mathematical models and solving problems in clean energy and water. I have been the investment business , the law business
and investment banking . Finally I got turned in the right direction by movement to clean energy in the early 2000s. I started a company that wrote and sold research to socially responsible investors
Then I got the opportunity of a life time to life and work in china

I spent 8 years overseas teaching in two universities in China and Thailand. On occasion, I was assigned to teach Economics and Engineering Related Courses in English to Western Students.
I discovered that my students in these courses were match deficient compared to my Chinese Students. Moreover, many of them were not interested doing the extra work necessary to
close the Gap! So I have been really been motivated to help my western students get up to speed!

I am quad lingual with good facility in Spanish, Chinese and Thai I enjoyed living in the USA more than before because I can talk to people in their native tongue.

Hobbies

I enjoy traveling in Asia. I lived in China and Thailand for 6 and 2 years, respectively. During this time, I missed traditional American Holidays such as Thanksgiving, Fourth of July and Labor Day. But I learned to celebrate new holidays such as Songkran in Thailand. during Songkran, there is a three day water fight to celebrate the New Year! I also was introduced to new foods, especially fish and noodle dishes. In USa I enjoy cooking Italian, Cuban, Chinese and Thai dishes, including the aromas and the colors of the vegetables. I am avid reader of science and nature articles on line.
