I love to teach and help people understand problems. I have a great attitude when it comes to teaching, and I have an especially strong knack with GMAT math, being able to approach a problem from multiple different perspectives. I've taught friends, family, and students for other tutoring companies.
I graduated from the University of Chicago with honors in math, economics, and statistics. I took the GMAT last March and scored a 770. In addition, I have taken the Bloomberg Aptitude Test, which measures aptitude in 8 different areas of business, accounting, and finance, and scored a 750, the third highest score in the world for the class of 2014 graduates. Along with my natural ability to understand math, I also excel at word problems that often stump students on standardized tests and translating those problems into equations that can then be solved.
No matter what we are working on, my goal is to keep you engaged and challenged, helping you to stretch your abilities and improve your score. I hold myself to a high standard and will never compromise on quality.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success on the GMAT!

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I will have a conversation with the student to make sure he or she understands the underlying concept behind a problem and knows why a certain answer is correct, not just how to find the right answer. I believe this is the best approach to long-term success as it builds a solid foundation on which further knowledge can be built.
