I am Ankit Jajoo. I am enrolled in Duke University Class of 2022 studying neuroscience and computer science. STEM is my number one passion, while history is my number one interest. Humanities and STEM not only coexist, but work together often in life. While STEM provides the foundation for the future, humanities contributes to how it is used to advance humanity as a whole. I love biology, chemistry, and computers. It is so cool to see how all these tiny minute parts of the world interact to create you, me, and everything we touch. On the other hand, history is cool to see how societies interacted to create the present world. The past is never separate from us, but always influencing everything from the various countries to cities to the tiny villages all over the world. The world is a combination of all of this and it is my passion to understand the world. Other than just about education and information, I love teaching other people about stuff. I enjoy teaching all my friends some stuff, in return they teach me other stuff. Contrary to popular opinion, teaching is a two way street. I've learned a tremendous amount from students and I hope they learned a similar amount from me. Tutoring students in a field I enjoy such as STEM or history is a dream come true.

I am a senior at Vanderbilt University, with a double major in Neuroscience and Medicine, Health, and Society (MHS). I've been tutoring students since my freshman year of high school, and I love it! In college, I'm a Research Assistant in a clinical neuroscience lab, and I'm also a Lab Assistant in another chemistry lab. I used to work at Mathnasium, which is a math tutoring company, but I love tutoring all subjects!

I am a graduate of SUNY University at Albany. I received my Bachelor of Science in Economics and Japanese with a minor in History in 2010. Since then (and even before as a sub) I have predominantly been teaching in the New York City public education system. I had worked as a substitute teaching assistant since 2008, moving between dozens of NYC public schools before finally settling in late 2011 at M.S. 216 George J. Ryan--an incredibly diverse middle school in Queens. During my tenure in the school system I have spent time teaching students from Pre-K to 12th grade, from all cultural background and socioeconomic statuses. Regardless of whom I have taught, I have always enjoyed it, partly because I often learn as much from my students as they learn from me. Regardless of the subject, I love teaching, and I find it to be one of the most rewarding and meaningful activities, which cliched as it may sound, really can make a difference in people's lives. Besides teaching, I am also keenly interested in the human body, specifically biomechanics, kinesiology, and rehabilitation through movement. I am currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Washington University in St. Louis, which I should finish in 2018.

I am a current undergraduate student at Duke University seeking a major in neuroscience and a possible minor in literature or chemistry. I have been tutoring higher level courses since the beginning of high school, and although I tutor in a variety of subjects, I specialize in writing, English, and essay editing (especially IB Extended Essays or college essays). I also help students with standardized testing, particularly in the SAT Reading portion of the exam. My passion for tutoring comes from my love of learning and helping others learn, and in my free time I enjoy painting, poetry, and fashion design.

I am a proud graduate of Iowa State University where I studied to receive my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. After completing this degree I journeyed to the United Kingdom in order to obtain my Master of Science in Math and Finance. I spent the last year living in Colchester and studying at the University of Essex. Now, I have returned to the United States and am ready to share my knowledge from the world of Mathematics! I feel confident in virtually all areas of Math, but my favorite subsets include Linear Algebra and Graph Theory. These topics were at the forefront of my dissertation along with group theory while at the University of Essex. I have learned throughout my studies that mathematics is about much more than numbers and I hope to help students see the fascinating things that they are capable of achieving through math. When I am not working to become the next Fields Medalist, I enjoy playing Kendama; a Japanese wooden skill toy, riding my bicycle and following my favorite sports teams.

I am currently a Master's student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, finishing up a Computer Science degree. I am interested specifically in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning and have two years professional experience in the industry. I have been employed at companies in California, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

I am a bright, helpful and patient tutor who enjoys working with students and always strives to meet their individual educational needs. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. I am currently a Harvard student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. I graduated Class Valedictorian in high school and was named National Merit Finalist. I took 16 AP classes in high school, including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C : Mechanics and AP Physics 1, with a score of 5 in all of the tests. I scored a 1570/1600 in my SAT and 800 in the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test and 790 in the SAT Physics Subject Test.

I am a certified teacher of both math and Chinese. I have taught everything from elementary to high school math, and from beginning to AP Mandarin Chinese. I have been teaching in public schools for more than ten years, so I know what students struggle with and where some of their biggest academic hurdles can be found. I am here to help!
