I am currently working on degrees in other areas and hope to pursue my masters someday. I am passionate about helping students, because I enjoy seeing them learning and gaining something from my lessons. I have taught students from Kindergarten through second grade for around five years in a classroom environment. I have also taught conversational English to adults and English to younger elementary age students online.

I am well-acquainted with and adept in instruction for various subjects. However, my favorites subjects are math and writing/literature/languages, albeit the latter is not conventionally thought of as one subject. In essence, I love to solve puzzles; each aforementioned subject entails figuring out how the constituents interact with one another while abiding by specific rules and, sometimes, exceptions.

I am a professional drummer and have played on concert stages for 15,000 or more. I love to fish and anything that has to do with water. I also enjoy camping and the outdoors.

I am a graduate of the University of Dubuque. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also received my Master of Arts in Missions & Discipleship with a focus on youth and young adults from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
