I am a retired teacher, linguist - I speak 3 languages (English, Portuguese, and Spanish), wife, and mom of 5 amazing children. I was born and raised in the USA, spending most of my life in sunny south Florida, our family decided to move to Louisiana last year and we love it here.

I'm a great tutor because I love Math, it's fun solving a problem. I try my hardest to relate to a student to better understand them and their study needs as well as gain their respect. I don't just help someone with the current topic they're working on, if I detect that they need to better understand something that was previously taught, I will spend the extra time to help them understand that topic as well.
