Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a fourth year at the University of Georgia studying Mechanical Engineering. I've always loved math and science, but I know not everyone does. I hope to be able to make these subjects a little easier for you in the future.

Hi, my name is Tanishka Lakhotia and I'm a rising junior at Georgia Tech majoring in Finance and Computer Science. I love meeting new people, sharing knowledge and learning from them!

I've worked in research, production, and sales in various industries which has given me numerous opportunities to apply my education in both math and science. My primary goal is to help my students improve their grades in math and science dramatically, and hope to motivate them by providing real world examples of how the material can be useful.

I have been tutoring students in math for 5 years both privately and for other companies. My favorite subject to tutor would be a tie between algebra and geometry. I am currently working to obtain my degree from Georgia Gwinnett College in Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics. With my degree, I want to start out as a high school math teacher while I continue my education up to a doctorate in mathematics.

My goal when tutoring is to not only help students learn how to get the right answer but help them understand why that answer is correct. I've found that one of the main reasons students struggle is due to a lack of interest in the material and that this can be solved by making the learning process more personal and engaging.
