How can Trigonometry tutoring help you succeed?

Does trigonometry seem like an insurmountable subject? Are you flabbergasted at how learning about a triangle has moved on to strange new topics such as the cosine, cosecant, law of tangents, or complementary angles? Perhaps Ptolemy's theorem or the Gudermannian function are giving you confusion. Working one-on-one with a trigonometry tutor in Kendall, FL, is an extremely beneficial and effective way for you to make progress in your test preparation. Individualized, one-on-one help could help get you ahead in class or ready for an exam, because your tutor will focus on your weaknesses and goals.

Your tutor will meet at a time that works for you. They can agree to lessons during the evening, or on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Having been in your shoes before, the instructor knows you are busy and time is of the essence. An ability to travel means a tutor will come to your home if that's what you prefer, or they can meet at a cafe or library in the local area. The Internet is also an option. Face-to-face remote lessons are managed by a live learning platform, and are a great way to receive valuable help if you can't meet your tutor in person.

Session Summaries by Trigonometry Tutors

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Carolyn in Kendall, FL
We went over what she'll learn this week: estimating when numbers have decimals and adding and subtracting decimals. She was still having trouble with place value, which caught up to her when estimating, so we went back and broke it down and worked on it until she really got it. Then we talked about word problems, and how to tell when she needs to add and when she needs to subtract.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Katherine in Kendall, FL
This Sunday the student and I spent the bulk of the time reviewing word problems. Her chapter test was a 32/45. She did perfectly on all problems except the word problems she's been having trouble with. I decided to reteach them to her and give her a series of formulas to breakdown the problems into things like speed1, speed2, time1, time2. This helped immensely, so I assigned her 10 practice problems to complete during the week. She also began working with exponents, which she is much more confident in. We completed a few problems using the FOIL method and began working with multiplying expressions longer than two terms.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Jorge in Kendall, FL
The student and I reviewed for an upcoming quiz by completing her practice exam and discussing different methods of obtaining an integration. We reviewed Riemann sums conceptually, including their different cases. We then proceeded to solve her practice problems. At first, she struggled to understand the trapezoidal method, but after I showed her a proof of how to find the area of trapezoids, she solved without obstacles. Since we were using past AP exam questions, I also gave her some advice on what graders might be looking for.
