About Me

Growing up I've always wished that I had someone who could explain complex math problems to me in simpler terms. I decided to join a summer STEM program in my community to assist students from K-12 as well as some college understand and enjoy mathematics as much as I do. I graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Currently I tutor Pre-Algebra. My favorite subject to tutor is Pre-Algebra, I've had people in the past who completely excelled in this subject but failed to deliver the knowledge to those who are struggling to understand, therefore, I want to help fill that gap. My teaching philosophy is building a strong foundation, I want to share information and unique styles that could help a student retain information forever. My tutoring style is based off of patience, breaking down solutions to problems meticulously and meeting students where they are.
