About Me

Hi! I'm Brenda and I have been teaching 8th grade Language Arts for 10.5 years! I've taught everything from elementary Spanish to high school Journalism and reading and writing is my jam. I nerd out on grammar technique, but I love hiking, kayaking and playing volleyball. I got married on NYE in the middle of the pandemic and am loving being newly married. I started a non-profit to support students in October 2019 and hope to be able to work full-time running that and part-time supporting students here b/c I believe in the next generation and understand the value of one-on-one support!
