About Me

I am currently a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University, majoring in Biological Chemistry, and minoring in Cognitive Neuroscience and Chinese Studies. I also conduct research in inorganic chemistry with focus in photochemistry with environmental applications. I'm excited to help students in chemistry or biology, or with general science, to both strengthen their performance and to encourage them to develop a curiosity for applying science to their own life. I have been a volunteer tutor and teaching assistant for elementary math and reading, as well as elementary, middle, and high school science. I have taken and excelled in AP courses, college courses, and graduate level chemistry courses and hope to prepare students for similar success by explaining and reviewing material, introducing study and testing strategies, and getting at the "why" behind important concepts. Outside of science, I love music including singing, dancing, and instruments and enjoy crafts, learning Chinese, and doing crossword puzzles.
