About Me

I tutored at the University of Nevada, Reno for a few semesters. I loved working with students one on one and in a group setting. I was an elementary school ESOL teacher for three years and I'm just now starting my graduate program at Webster University. I worked with students in third through sixth grade, again in varying settings of one on one, in small groups, and whole class. Before teaching full time, I substituted and worked with high school students a few times. I feel comfortable taking subject matter with which the student is struggling and slowing down or taking novel approaches to help him or her understand.
