I am a current (though almost graduated) student in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech. I absolutely love teaching and tutoring, and I have 3 years experience tutoring and just over a year's experience in being a teacher's assistant. I am passionate about math and science, and I love helping people understand new material. Learning is something I have always loved, and I want to share that passion with others.

I am a life-long proponent of education and learning. I graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in philosophy. After working for a few years, including in book publishing, I returned to school and completed my M.A. in history at the University of California, Berkeley. While there, I taught history and philosophy classes to undergraduates. I also taught Standardized Test Prep (SAT and GRE) for Summit Tutors and Kaplan.

I am a Stanford student from Maryland studying Political Science and Computer Science. I graduated from high school in 2015, where I was active as the captain of my high school sailing team, a section leader in the orchestra, and part of the STEM magnet program Project Lead the Way. I am currently taking some time off from school to be around family here in Massachusetts and while I will be taking a few classes, I have plenty of time and lots of flexibility. I am excited to work with middle and high school students in math, reading and writing, social studies, and computer science. In addition to taking classes and tutoring this fall I will be volunteering in after school programs with low income middle and elementary school students.

I am a graduate of Wesleyan University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Honors. With eight years of experience working in education, I've tutored students in math, science, history, and English, as well as helped students prepare for standardized tests. I've guided adults towards passing the US Citizenship Exam and taught English in India, where I lived for six months. Whenever I work with a student I personalize the lessons to fit their particular learning style, since I know every student is unique and having the right fit can make all the difference in making learning fun and effective. My strengths are tutoring the social sciences and humanities, as well as making math and standardized tests approachable to students that normally don't like those subjects. In my spare time I like traveling, spending time in the outdoors (climbing & backpacking), meditation, and playing soccer. Next fall I will be beginning my PhD in Education at Harvard University.

I am a Yale grad, Johns Hopkins master's candidate, and certified early childhood educator. At Yale, I studied History and Child Development. I went on to teach with Teach For America, and I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching. Tutoring has been an interest of mine for many years. I started tutoring when I was in middle school, and I haven't stopped. I thoroughly enjoy working with students of all ages to help supplement their learning. I am available to tutor middle and high school math, history and test prep. I have tutored math and history in the past and I previously taught a test prep course at a school in Hanoi, Vietnam. I'm Solange - a recent graduate from Harvard where I studied Sociology & Women's Studies. I've been tutoring for eight years now, and have worked with a wide range of ages and in a wide range of subjects. Some of my specialties are college prep/test taking II worked in the admissions office on campus); social sciences; and literature/writing.

I am a current student at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in English and minoring in journalism and art history.
