I am a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Political Science and International Studies. After I graduate, I will be pursuing work in the public sector, working specifically in foreign affairs. I have thoroughly enjoyed my college experience, and have developed tremendously as a writer and critical thinker. I hope to help students do the same as a tutor. My teaching philosophy is simple: work with students to get them to connect the concepts together to solve a problem or understand an idea. If you can visualize each fundamental point and connect the dots in your head, you're well on your way to finding the solution. I teach a variety of subjects, from ACT English, Reading, Math and Science to AP World History to helping with college essays. I'd be glad to help with anything and everything.

I've found that difficulties understanding or solving problems or questions come from an inability to piece together the underlying concepts. For that reason, I like to start from scratch and create a framework of understanding in order to answer the problem or question at hand. For me personally, I feel like this works a lot better than simply showing the answer.
