I am a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on European history and the history of religion. I am extremely passionate about history and writing, and I have enjoyed tutoring students in these subjects for over five years. I began my journey as an educator in 2017, when I taught lessons about human rights and the history of religion to high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area. I continued honing my educational skills at Carleton, where I worked as a tutor and mentor for students with learning differences. I used my deep knowledge of history and writing to help students proofread their essays, study for humanities courses, and teach them important executive functioning and study skills to help them succeed in college. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to form empathic and intentional connections with my students. I am a Senior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute studying Mechanical and Robotics Engineering. I am here to help with any Math, Science, Engineering or other tutoring needs. My main approach is to focus on mastery over work pace. I encourage my students to strive for perfection on the basic material, before moving to the hard stuff. That way you won't only "kinda know" two things, but truly understand the material. Outside of class I enjoy, hiking, playing the saxophone, cooking and building robots.

I am a recent law school graduate from Suffolk University Law School and hold a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in business from Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout high school, college, and law school, I have served as a coach, mentor, and teacher. I coached a swim team for many years, taught swim lessons to everyone from babies to adults, and served as a volunteer assistant with a middle school ESL department. As a law student, I had the opportunity to participate in a program where I taught Constitutional Law to high school juniors and seniors at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Cambridge, MA. I loved working with my class and watching how much they learned and grew throughout the year. One of my students was even selected to participate in a national moot court competition, and I had the privilege of coaching him through the competition and watching him compete in Washington, D.C. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about history, government, political science, and law. I also love reading and writing, and am very experienced in drafting all types of writing and papers, including personal statements and college/grad school essays. My first two years at Purdue however I was an Aerospace Engineering Major. Through college I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for General Chemistry. Currently I am a coach at Carmel Swim Club who loves photography, fantasy sports, reading, and writing. Subsequently, I hold four Masters degrees which include an MBA in Management from Long Island University, Masters of Liberal Studies with a concentration in History and Political Science from StonyBrook University, an EdM in Education Administration from Columbia University, and an MLS in Library Science from St John's University. I completed my PhD in Management at Walden University.

I am a recent graduate of Binghamton University/SUNY Binghamton with a BA in History. During my four years, I spent time at WSKG, the local PBS/NPR station, working closely as part of their Educational outreach programs designing teaching materials and helping at hands-on events in the field. While a student, I tutored many of my peers in subjects ranging from American history to writing and test preparation. Although I am confidant in a number of varied topics, history, from American to modern world to ancient civilizations, remain my favorite. I love the moment when a student starts connecting ideas and historical events and themes. I sincerely feel that the education system is one of, if not THE most important systems in the world today and cannot wait to see how it evolves and changes in the 21st century. If I can leave any of my students with just one thing, it would be a better sense of confidence and excitement about education and learning.
