In my teaching experience, when students actually learn the concepts and logic, not only does their math vastly improve, but they also learn to enjoy math, which is the ultimate goal. My qualifications include excelling at all high school math competitions including finishing second at the 1989 Colorado Math Olympiad. I also graduated from MIT at 19 years old.

There is nothing better than seeing a child finally understand a concept! That is what drives me; it is why I love being an educator. My background in literacy and writing, as well as my degree in Liberal Studies, helps me deliver lessons to students in different ways. Thus helping the student to understand or see the materials in different ways.
