I am a doctoral student in theater history at Yale University currently living in Boston. I also hold a B.A. with honors in English Literature. I offer tutoring in elementary and middle school math, English literature, and reading comprehension; I can also offer particular expertise in writing.I am a published critic and scholar, and I currently work as an editorial assistant and proofreader. I also love teaching writing. I have worked for three years in writing intensive courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, and have also helped lead writing workshops for middle and high school students. In total, he has written, produced, acted and directed four feature films.He has also co created and produced two internet TV shows: "I'M STANDING HERE," a travel show, and "FOOD AND FUN," a food and entertainment show.In 2007 he created INSIDER MAG RADIO as a supplement to THE INSIDER MAG, a traveler's magazine, which he publishes. This is distributed in airports across the United States.In 2010 he relocated back to the Boston area and began producing INSIDERMAG RADIO from a local studio.In 2011 THE ANTHONY DUVA SHOW starring Anthony and Ashley was created and the show moved to its flagship station WTIM.The radio show was reformatted again in 2012 as THE DUVA SHOW Live with Anthony, produced by Insider Mag Radio.He has also produced Equity Waver Theater in Los Angeles and has written four full length plays.He has written a travel book TRAVELS WITH ZELDA and this is his first book.These days, he he is an ESL teacher and a private in home tutor and currently a doctoral candidate at Northeastern University in Boston.

As the oldest of three siblings, I have spent a lot of time huddled around math and science textbooks, explaining concepts and helping my brother and sister see problems the way I do.I believe strongly that the student gains nothing from the tutor who does their work for them, so I go out of my way to make sure each student understands that grasping the concepts is much more important than solving the individual problems.Besides working with my siblings, I also have experience teaching swim lessons, volunteering in classrooms, and tutoring High School students.My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Computer Science. Outside of academia I am interested in basketball and music production.

The programs' subject matter spanned all subjects from the Maryland State curriculum and Girl and Cub Scout badge requirements, from Pre-K through 5th grade. In addition, I have previous experience in educational outreach programming; camp counseling; teaching theatre classes; and tutoring.
