I am a UC Berkeley student double majoring in Psychology and Art Practice, expected to graduate in May of 2026. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Middle school education and Learning Disabilities from UW-Eau Claire. I completed my post-baccaulaurate degree for Deaf/Hard of Hearing education from UW-Milwaukee. I received my Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University. I have been a teacher for 26.5 years. I was a general education teacher for 12 years and a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing for 14.5 years. I believe that all students can learn. I teach students age 3-21. I not only love teaching, but I love learning as well.

I have 4+ years of teaching experience, both with teaching high school and college level students. I taught Writing and Rhetoric at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) from August 2018 to December of 2020, with my classes consisting of hybrid forms, fully online forms, and special international sections. In June of 2022, I was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive/impulsive type) and immediately dove into research about Executive Functioning and ways to overcome my symptoms. I now share what I have learned and my stories of success with my students as an Executive Functioning coach here on VT. I have worked with students from all walks of life and view all students as equally worthy of education and support, even if they haven't received that support in the past.
