I am a native Italian and French speaker, I graduated from the University of Turin (Italy) with a Master's degree in Visual Arts and Multimedia. I also studied foreign languages at the University of Helsinki (Finland) for a year with the Erasmus program. I have a long life passion for the field of languages and for the one-on-one relationships I'm able to create with my students. I have been tutoring elementary, high school and college age students for many years, always with great results and satisfaction. I currently am a freelance tutor at the University of Georgia. I spend my free time painting in nature, spending time with my family and I have a deep love for contemporary dance.

I am a rising Senior currently studying neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. Science and particularly the inner workings of the brain have been a passion of mine from a very young age, where I remember candidly telling my mother that I would be a neurosurgeon one day.I have been tutoring ever since high school, where I tutored many of my peers in algebra, calculus and French. At the University of Pennsylvania, I have had the privilege of working for our Tutoring Center, which offers private student tutors to fellow peers struggling in a particular subject. In particular, I have spent my time at Penn tutoring Calculus and Physics, two of my favorite pre-med subjects. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine in that I can directly help my student succeed and achieve their academic, personal and professional goals. I always relate tutoring to my dream of becoming a physician, where we place ourselves in a position to help someone else with knowledge that we have acquired.As a tutor, you can always expect me to be happy, passionate and focused on your success. I graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a focus on Children’s Development. While I was at Brown I was the president of my all-female acappella group, the Brown’sTones, I performed in a lot of theatre on campus, and I volunteered in pre-school and kindergarten classrooms.Last year I worked at a charter high school in Boston, MA that supplied students with in-school tutoring during the day. There I tutored Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish and all high school levels of English. I also organized all of the clubs and activities for the school and led the choir. I would never describe myself as just a “Math and Science” or just an “English and History” person, which is why I tutored so many different subjects, but if I had to pick a favorite I would say that tutoring math is my favorite. There’s something great about knowing that an answer is 100% , beyond a shadow of a doubt, correct.If you ask any of my students they will definitely tell you that I am a fun tutor. I think a tutoring session will go exponentially better if there’s some laughter involved. I’m always down for racing against my students doing math problems or coming up with hilarious study mnemonics for upcoming tests.This past fall, I lived in Padua, Italy as an au pair for a family with a 6 year-old and an 8 year-old. I got to improve my Italian, drink delicious cappuccino with the other au pairs in the mornings while looking out over the beautiful piazzas, and travel all around Italy. I even went to the largest chocolate festival in all of Europe! Now that I’m back in the states, I work at a noted university in a lab that studies how environment and socioeconomic status affect children’s brain development. Specifically, I work on a project that studies the efficacy of HeadStart programs in New York.

I'm currently a sophomore at Notre Dame. I'm a math major but am also fulfilling pre-med requirements, so I'm a good bet with things like math, chemistry, and physics. As my friends can attest, I'm also a great proofreader if you have any papers. If you happen to be learning Italian, I have intermediate proficiency in that as well.
