My philosophy of teaching has evolved from many years as a student and as a teacher. Reflection on my beliefs regarding teaching and learning reveal that my mission as a teacher is threefold: to promote learning; to spark enthusiasm; and to provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. I employ a wide variety of strategies based on essential educational principles. These encompass cognitive functioning, learning theory, diversity issues, instructional planning and assessment.

Hi! I'm Joe and I've been tutoring since 2004. I have served a wide range of learners, from elementary school students to professionals seeking help with business documents. I have special experience with the humanities sections of a range of standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, and even the GRE.
