Hello! My name is Keanu Rivera and I'm a congressional staffer for Rep. Derek Kilmer. I graduated from the University of Washington in June of 2016 with a B.S. in Biology. Growing up with lots of younger siblings I've often found myself the unofficial tutor of our family. Not only has all this at home practice allowed me to hone my teaching skills but also allowed me to develop a fondness for helping others learn!

I attended Columbia University where I received my B.A. in Biochemistry. Subsequently, I completed my MPhil from the University of Cambridge, also in Biochemistry. In addition to having tutored for 4+ years, I am well acquainted with a wide range of course materials and admissions test formats. This includes the ACT and MCAT, both of which I scored in the 99th percentile. I specialize in science tutoring.

My background includes clinical research and lab coordination. I enjoy tutoring math, science, and test prep. I have also taught biochemistry review classes, including preparation of study plans and materials, assessment tests, tools for my students, and instructional hours.
