My educational philosophy on learning is based on the cognitivist learning theory. Cognitivist teaching methods help assimilate new information to existing knowledge and enable them to make appropriate modifications to their "existing intellectual framework to accommodate that information."

I am a History Major that specifies predominantly in pre-modern Europe, but I am open to American history and I am aware of the broad strokes of Asain history as well. I look to aid students in their critical thinking, stressing the ability to analyze effectively over the acquisition of knowledge.
