The Admissions Assessment for Beginning Learners (AABL) is a test taken by children ages four to six years old. The test, administered via iPad, assesses young children for entrance into gifted and talented programs. The AABL uses graphics to determine a child's skills in verbal reasoning, numerical thinking, early reading and math concepts, and compares each child's scores to other children taking the exam at the same age and grade level across the U.S. The test gives parents, teachers, and school administrators information to determine a child's academic needs.
If your child is getting ready to enter elementary school, Varsity Tutors can connect you to an experienced AABL tutor for your student.
