I am Abir, a freshman at UNC. I am double majoring in biochemistry and neuroscience with a planned minor in mathematics. My dream is to attend medical school and become a surgeon. As a recent high school graduate, I know all too well the struggles and stresses of being a high-achieving student aiming for the very best college acceptances. It is because I know this feeling so well that I want to help in any way I can.

I am an undergraduate at Yale University. I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on fluid mechanics and energy conversion. I have tutoring experience from my senior year in high school, when I ran my own test prep and tutoring service for sophomores and juniors. Most of my experience is in SAT and ACT test prep, but I have also done tutoring in the maths and sciences and English composition. While I am a Mechanical Engineering major, I have always had a profound appreciation for great literature and for writing good English, and I would love to pass that along to all of my students. Whenever I tutor, my main objective is not simply to plant more knowledge in the student's mind, but to give them a greater understanding of broader fields of inquiry, so that they reach a greater understanding of how the different academic domains are connected and interdependent. Outside of academics, I am a Midshipman in the Navy ROTC program at my school and hope to someday serve as a Submarine Officer in the Pacific. I am a current Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at Texas Woman's University, continuing my education in Kinesiology and related subjects.

I am currently a rising Senior at Rice University from Alexandria, Virginia. I'm studying Political Science and Latin American Studies with a minor in Politics, Law and Social Thought. After I graduate I hope to go to law school to become an immigration lawyer.

I am a recent grad from Georgia Tech, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering (an intersection of math, computer science, and business) and minoring in Business and Technology. I am originally from Columbus, OH, but chose to come down to Atlanta after getting a full-ride scholarship from Georgia Tech. I am most excited about helping other students achieve their dreams of going to medical school by helping them study for the MCAT. Besides MCAT tutoring, my favorite subjects are chemistry, biology, and math which are all subjects I have tutored in before. At Harvard, I spent a year as a course assistant in the math department, helping to teach introductory undergraduate calculus. Currently, I volunteer with the Leadership Institute at Harvard College (LIHC) as part of its Social Outreach Committee. This work involves teaching a weekly course called "Fundamentals of Leadership" to a class of middle school students. Overall, I have found my experiences tutoring math to be the most rewarding.
