I am a graduate from the University of North Texas. I received my M.S degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am passionate about biomedical research. I have been a biology and French tutor for more than four years. As a teaching assistant and a tutor, I listen closely to the student's concerns and provide academic assistance in courses such as Biology, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, and French. I can teach in English and French as well. My hobbies are reading, traveling, cooking and playing tennis.

I was in high school when I first fell in love. How could I resist its simplicity and elegance? I'm referring to math, of course, but I didn't always like the subject. Until about age 16, I thought of math as a boring, mind-numbing process of blindly memorizing formulas and then forgetting them after the test, but a series of wonderful teachers showed me the truth. I had thought that everything in math was invented arbitrarily just to torture students, but actually it all made sense in a deep way. When I caught a glimpse of what math really was, I found it irresistible and I ended up majoring in math in college at UChicago. I'm currently a Master's student in Computer Science at NYU.

I am a graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Psychology. I am currently working as a medical scribe upon matriculation into medical school. I worked as a tutor for Kumon Learning Center while in high school and continued to tutor during college.My favorite students to work with are elementary and middle school students, but I am able to help with high school students as well. I have the most experience in tutoring reading, math and science-related subjects.My teaching style embodies two main qualities, the development of productive habits and exposure to a wide variety of study methods. I believe in consistent encouragement and repetition in order to achieve one's desired academic success.In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball with my friends, going running and working out at least 4 times a week.

I grew up in OKC, OK and went to high school in Edmond, OK. I have a B.S. in Sociology from OU, a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and I am currently in my last year of medical school at OU. I am preparing for a career as an emergency medicine physician. I enjoy being outside and going on hikes with my husband. I also like to wind down by baking and bingeing shows!

My philosophy on education is to nurture the individual through my teaching and guidance. My goal is to build relationships with the students I tutor so that they will feel comfortable and learn everything they need help with. I look forward to meeting my future students that I will be tutoring!

I am a rising junior at Georgia Institute of Technology. My major is Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and I am pursuing a minor in Computer Science, specifically an Artificial Intelligence thread. I have helped tutor students since high school, and enjoy seeing others interested in learning in the same areas as me. I have largely tutored Physics and CS in the past, and am looking to help students succeed in Chemistry as well.

You never forget a great teacher. I've had some so good that I remember their lessons from a decade ago. It's my goal to have that effect on the students I tutor. I graduated from the University of New Haven with a dual BS in premedical biology and forensic biology with a minor in chemistry. While I was there, I worked as a teaching assistant for the chemistry department; I prepared solutions and answered an ocean of questions about laboratory technique and chemistry in general. I love math and science in general, but my favorite subjects to teach out of the whole bunch are biology (middle school through MCAT biology and college microbiology) and physics. Math and science are among the most daunting subjects for many students, but they're the most intuitive subjects at their core. Using a show-don't-tell approach to tutoring, I guide my students and give them the tools they need to discover first-hand the intuitiveness of these subjects. My hobbies include reading, slacklining (do a quick Google search, it's pretty awesome), bicycling, running, playing video games, and powerhousing entire tv series on Netflix.

I obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education and am certified to teach grades 4-8 with specific concentration in both Science and English. I previously taught 8th grade Science and 6th grade Science and Social Studies. However, I also have experience with tutoring students ranging from grades 1-6 through working at an After School Program. In addition, I volunteered to edit high school students' college admissions essays throughout my college career. Teaching is one of my greatest passions and I believe in making learning both fun and challenging. Hands-on, inquiry-based lessons are at the center of my teaching practice. I create engaging lessons that fit a student's needs and enable them to experience success. While I am qualified to tutor all subjects in grades 1-8, I especially love Science and English. It is my goal to helps students find their own love of learning so that they may be motivated to overcome any difficulties. Beyond teaching and tutoring, I love to spend time with family and friends. I also love to cook and enjoy eating even more! To counter my love for food, I enjoy running, yoga, and any fun outdoor activity!

GO KNIGHTS. During my time studying at Valencia, I found that I really enjoy Math. So I started working in the Math Center where I was able to tutor an array of students. This opened the opportunity for me to tutor a variety of subjects which I have listed below :) I believe in practice, repetition and self motivation.
