I hold a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Oxford, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Cornell University. With over two years of experience teaching at both high school and university levels, including my role at Yale's Young Global Scholars program, I have developed a collaborative, student-centered approach to tutoring. I specialize in Spanish language and social sciences, particularly anthropology, sociology, and politics. My teaching philosophy is grounded in meeting students where they are, tailoring lessons to their unique backgrounds and interests. I am passionate about fostering deep understanding through real-world examples, especially given my extensive research in Latin America. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring cross-cultural dynamics and the nuances of language, which enrich my teaching and connect me with students on a personal level.
