Having earned my Bachelor's Degree in American Studies (English) from Utah State University, with minors in Philosophy and Film Studies. I also have a Masters degree in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

I specialize in English, Language Arts, Reading Comprehension, and Writing.

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing how new skills can benefit students outside of the learning environment. Learning has so many effects that have nothing to do with school, and it's so delightful to watch students grow in ways that neither of us expects!

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and empowering environment tailored to each student's needs. Whether it's breaking down complex concepts or instilling confidence in problem-solving, I love to make learning fun and interesting.

Outside academia, I am deeply passionate about movies, animals, and being outdoors to enrich my perspective and creativity.
