I am a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur in California where I received my Masters in English with an emphasis on writing, poetry, and literature. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at Mary Washington in Virginia. The beautiful campus and the Liberal Arts Education that my college sisters and I received there will always hold a special place among my treasured memories.

I have traveled extensively, throughout Europe. Also, I traveled to northern India four times for family visits to our farm there.
A relative's wedding took me to the beautiful seaside in Pohang, Korea.
Fortunately, before the Pandemic changed so many of our lives, one of my students invited me to accompany her to Shanghai, China for a magical ten-day visit in 2017.
Years ago, I worked as a Flight
Attendant and later, at the FA School as an Instructor, followed by writing manuals for Customer Services.

All of these experiences have given me valuable insight into many of my American and international students' inspiration and thirst for furthering their English skills at school, at work, among their family members, and in preparation for their chosen professions and careers.

I have had 11 years of private tutoring in PSAT, SAT, and ACT Test Prep. I especially enjoy assisting with Writing and Essay Assignments and particularly like proofreading and editing Short Stories.

These days we must put Education and Technological Proficiency first for I feel that the solid foundation such as the Varsity Tutors Platform offers is the basis for a useful and fruitful life in which both student and teacher can exchange ideas and learn from one another. This, in turn, may guide our global citizens to a more peaceful and worthy existence.
