I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2020. Several of my elective courses were education courses because I knew that teaching was in my future. Up until recently, every job I had before and during college involved teaching, tutoring or mentoring students. I am very passionate about helping someone find enrichment and appreciation of life through reading great works. I am a strong believer that finding your own unique voice through writing is a powerful way to improve and impact your life and those around you. I seek to help young writers find that voice in their writing. I am a patient and creative teacher; I love to make lessons fun and engaging for my students. I seek to make connections with those I teach to help me understand their interests and areas of need in tutoring. In my spare time I enjoy playing outside with my children, picnics and lake days, reading for fun, watching Marvel movies, and writing creatively.
