I graduated from Elmhurst College (now Elmhurst University) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a focus in Early Childhood (birth-3rd grade), letter of approval for special education and a minor in teaching English as a second language. Since then, I've spent the past two years working as a lead teacher in an early pre-k classroom, first as a lead in a ten 24-36 month olds at a private family-owned center and now as a co-lead in a classroom of ten 15-36 month olds at a local community center.
I believe we should be lifelong learners and strive to foster that for myself by staying up to date with the latest trends in education. In my free time, I love to read (historical fiction, paranormal, and dystopians) and play boardgames or DnD with my friends.
