I am certified to teach in both the English and Spanish Languages. I have taught in Inner City Chicago, the City of Rockford, Il, Florida and Puerto Rico. During my Teaching Career, I was nominated 3 times for a Golden Apple Award. Also through out my teaching career , I have always had a passion to work with children, either tutoring or directing After School Tutoring Programs. Every child has the ability to learn, we just have to provide he/she with the correct tools to succeed.

I am working as a special education teacher for Chicago Public Schools. I have worked as a substitute teacher at various schools and have had the pleasure of working with students of different personalities and educational levels. I am completing my Masters program in May of 2015 and begin student teaching in January. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). My Master's program is being completed at Northeastern Illinois University.

I am passionate about learning new languages, so I also studied Spanish for about 12 years. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to places where I can snowboard or hike.

I am currently pursuing my dual doctorate in chiropractic medicine and naturopathy at national university of health sciences.
