Oral and written activities based on: -reflexive verbs -passé compose (with avoir and atre) This was the last lesson on reflexive verbs. The student is now quite comfortable using the verbs in both oral and written forms. The passé compose tense was just introduced today. We read a text about vacation routines before going over formation of the passé compose. Then we did two activities to reinforce the formation of passé compose. The two activities focused on both form and meaning.

The student and I met today and started with adjectives, sizing, colors, and food and drink words mostly. We were able to also discuss some things that she wanted to be sure of before heading to Paris. We practiced some directions. She has made great improvements and I'm so excited for her trip. I can't wait to hear from her when she is back about how it went.

Today we completed homework assignments for History, French, and English. Next time we will work on Geometry as well. The student has weekly assignments to complete in all his classes at school. We went over the map that he was assigned for History, and he completed his French Exercises out of his book. We went over expressions with avoir, and I quizzed the student on the phrases and their meanings. We also put together an outline for his current English essay. We utilized a poem from his book, as well as two external articles. We will continue his studies next week.
