I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University. I received my Masters in Elementary Education and Special Education, Cross Categorically. Since graduation, I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten and 4th grade Reading Intervention. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading, writing and English as a Second Language. I have had 3 years of teaching English Language Learners in my classroom. Helping struggling students to succeed in reading, writing and math is the most rewarding aspect of my career as a teacher. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, hiking, working on our farm, and restoration projects on our 1920's farm house.
