I received my Elementary Education degree from Langston University.
While attending college I joined the US Army Reserves and have participated in several deployments. In 2019 I returned to the US after a 10 year period of teaching in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi). I was responsible for teaching Math, Science and English to Arab speaking students. As an Early Childhood Teacher, I've taught across many subjects, however I have a passion for Language Arts, Reading, Writing and Science. I love the hands-on part of introducing a concept. I believe students learn best if, I do, you do, then we do.
In my off time, I enjoy sewing, and other crafts. I also hold a CDL, which allows me to see this beautiful country when I'm not teaching.
