I am a graduate of Duke University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a finance concentration, as well as a minor in History.
Over the years, I've acquired extensive experience tutoring high school students, going back to my own high school days when I tutored fellow classmates in a variety of courses, as well as tutoring local Durham high schoolers during my college years. Nevertheless, I look forward to instructing middle school and college students as well.
While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Mathematics, Economics, and History. In my experience preparing students for standardized tests, I've oftentimes had the most fun and productive sessions when covering some of the more quantitative and problem-solving portions of the exams.
I am a firm proponent of education, having witnessed firsthand just how powerful a tool it can be to achieving one's goals and dreams, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new recipes, attending concerts and festivals, napping in hammocks, and unfortunately supporting my Charlotte Hornets.
