What is your teaching philosophy?

Reading comprehension can be a difficult skill, and I would be sure to have my students read every day (even just short articles or a chapter in a favorite book). Once they have read for the day, I would have them write down, in their own words, the main points/concepts in the text itself. By deriving their own meaning, it may make the task of reading comprehension less intimidating and leave room to build.
