I became a tutor in college at the recommendation of a Creative Writing Professor who suggested me for the program. I absolutely fell in love with it. Getting to know my students, watching their work develop over the course of a semester, and watching them try new things and really push themselves was such a great feeling. I had never considered anything like teaching before, but after my first semester as a tutor I was completely hooked on seeing people learn and helping them to achieve their goals. I've since worked with young children, high school students, and even grad students, whether helping to better their reading and writing skills, help them to learn new skills, or to aid in their studies. My ultimate goal is to help you achieve your own goals.
There is nothing more important that an education (except one's health). No one can take an education away from you. When you truly learn something, you never lose it. I'm here to help you learn, not just to memorize or finish work for the sake of finishing it. I want to help you apply what we do in tutoring sessions to your life. I want to help give you the tools to succeed. And, of course, I want to make sure you have fun and enjoy it.

Writing, drawing, horror movies, puns, outer space, cats (cats are totally an interest), stand up comedy, cooking, hiking. I love anything a little weird, a little funny, but very clever.
