I'm Asami. I am a second year graduate student at Central Connecticut State University in TESOL program. I graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Japan in 2015 with a BA in Polish studies. Learning English and Polish made me realize how fun it is to be able to communicate with people from other countries. I am a concentrator in the History of Science which involves the study of the development of knowledge. It is amazing to see how systems and thought evolve. History of Science has been amazing in changing my consideration of what is science and who gets a chance to live in our world which inspired my change to the non-medical path of history of science towards public health.

I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I love the way reading a novel can pick you up and bring you anywhere. Someplace magical, someplace mysterious. Writing is an outlet used for expression and can be very therapeutic. Finding your creativity is a fun way to get to know yourself better.
