I have been teaching and tutoring Math for over 15 years. I started my career as a high school teacher and am currently a Lecturer of Mathematics at a local university. I have a Master's Degree in Applied Computational Mathematics and can help with nearly all high school and college level math courses. I've held several different positions such as high school math teacher, computer systems operator, and Navy IT. This shows my versatility. I strive to motivate others and help them be successful. I believe that that success of future adults begins with our children now. Children all have preferred learning methods and it is important to keep in mind the cognitive levels of various students. I have been working with children for over 5 years now. I have 2 children of my own, ages 10 years and 1 year, and I also teach 3rd grade at a public school in Virginia.
