I'm a Maryland native who loves good music, dramatic movies, and travel. Another one of my favorite things is working with students from all walks of life; I've been happily tutoring and mentoring for more than four years. I practice student-centered tutoring, which means I like to spend a little more time in the beginning trying out various learning techniques (written, oral, movement-based) to discover which best helps my student succeed.

Growing up as a first-generation ESL student, I understood the difficulty of having to learn on your own and seeking additional practice. I want to be the person that helps those in need, especially those who might know who to seek.
