As a passionate tutor specializing in math and computer science, I am committed to making complex topics accessible to my students. As I begin my first year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science this fall at Toronto Metropolitan University, I already have experience tutoring peers in subjects such as Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, and Computer Science. My teaching philosophy centers on breaking down challenging concepts into manageable pieces, ensuring students fully grasp each component before combining them into a broader lesson. I am best suited to help high school students, particularly those aged 15 to 18, gain confidence and improve their grades. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material. In my free time, I work on coding problems and projects that combine physics and math with computer science. I also enjoy exploring new mathematical theories and higher-level maths, which further fuels my enthusiasm for tutoring.
