I was born in Des Moines, Iowa & currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm Swiss-American and have a passion for education, STEM, and fostering community.

I have strengths in coding/data science, environmental science, statistics, and language (English, writing, etc.).

I've enjoyed many roles throughout my budding career and time as a student. My experiences have revealed the following about myself: I cherish meaningful interpersonal bonds, I value the right to a healthy environment, I'm curious at heart (and an extrovert), and I empower and connect with youth around me & globally.

I was a peer tutor in Chemistry and English as a high schooler. Here are some other tidbits about my life, which I feel make me a strong educator: I created lesson plans and activities for children ages 3-14, campers, and guests and conducted outreach programs at local Iowa schools/after-school programs (AmeriCorps Summer Ladders, Science Center of Iowa). I've worked with youth in Dubai, UAE to learn about their role in addressing the climate crisis at UNFCC's Conference of Parties (Emory University Observer, United Nations COP28). I spent multiple years as a policy debate educator and adjudicator to improve high schoolers' advocacy, argumentation, and public speaking skills on topics of Criminal Justice Reform, Water Resources, & Economic Inequality (Policy Debate Judge, Dowling Catholic High School; Mamaroneck High School).

Lastly, I love learning new things that don't come naturally to me, which makes me a unique leader. I was elected as Co-President of Emory American Sign Language Organization for 3 consecutive years. I led Executive team meetings, planned weekly Sign-n'-Chats, and facilitated lessons for General Body Meetings. I grew our club from ~5 regular members to more than 30 (Emory University, EASLO). I secured the first ever funding for the club during my time as a student.
