I believe that education is the gateway to equal opportunity and my passion and purpose is to help open the door. While it is up to the student to walk through it, I believe that helping students develop self efficacy skills offers them a sustainable foundation to remain engaged, be more proactive learners, and become the narrators in their educational stories. Supporting learners is a collaborative effort involving teachers and the students' support systems, all conspiring to guide the student towards that open door and beyond to educational success.
