My passion includes adapting curriculum and instruction so that all students can use their unique strengths to be successful.

I am currently a Special Education Teacher for intermediate students in grades 4/5 in reading, writing, math, and social skills. I have taught Special Education for students with mild to severe disabilities in grades K-5, served as an elementary school counselor, and taught 3rd and 4th grades in Texas, Idaho, and England.

Hobbies

I am the mother of two boys with dyslexia and ADHD. I am passionate about learning all I can about these subjects. I read book after book and attend in-person and virtual conferences and trainings whenever I can. During the spring and summer months, I enjoy gardening, going on walks with my family and cooking.
