I have a Master's in Biology from University of Texas at San Antonio and a Doctorate from The Ohio State University in Educational Psychology. I have been teaching Health, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology for the past 12 years. My background also centers in health and wellness and includes 12 years of experience as a worksite wellness consultant. I was also a professional fitness competitor (IFBB) from 1999 2014.
I have followed a non-traditional, winding path in my college career and understand challenges. I am here to support you in your journey and help with learning challenging concepts such as genetics, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, general chemistry and anatomy and physiology. I absolutely love dogs and have three rescues.
