Hello, my name is Jiban Limbu; you can call me as Jiu (in short). As far as my teaching experience is concerned, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for two and half years while I was a Graduate student at the University of Oklahoma. In OU, I had worked as a tutor in the Math Center where I tutored courses like Differential Equation, Calculus, Linear Algebra to name a few mostly to the undergraduates and as a discussion leader, particularly for Calculus which mostly used to be like homework help class. Besides, I have worked as a lecturer of mathematics in Kathmandu Engineering College, Kathmandu, Nepal for more than 7 years to the undergraduates. Moreover, I have taught mathematics to the lower and secondary schools back in my country. As you can see, I have been teaching/tutoring mathematics to different levels for more than 10 years. Here, I am a certify tutor of mathematics at Varsity Tutors platform, and I am eligible to teach/tutor here the courses such as Algebra1, Algebra2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Pre-algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus-1, 2 and 3, College Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and Middle School Math.
Teaching/tutoring mathematics to the students is my passion. With this passion in teaching/tutoring mathematics, I firmly believe that I can create a kind of milieu which can instill and arouse enthusiasm for learning math in the students in my class by using different problem-solving skills and creating constructive learning environments which students can cope with. I intend to use varieties of techniques and strategies depending on the students' level and age for my lesson to be more engaging, effective and fun so much so that students can learn or gain in an optimum way which I am hoping to show you during my class when you show up in my class in the upcoming days. I would like to start with a lesson by recalling and formulating the concepts that are necessary for the lesson and proceed according to the students' level of understanding.
