I am a student at Brigham Young University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and International Development. After graduation, I plan on attending medical school and working towards a dual MD, MBA degree. I'm a bit of a renaissance man and am interested in everything. I love art, the outdoors, reading, and am a closet nerd. My experience working with students ranges from an internship teaching Samoan children principles of public health to one on one training with university students as the lead student in a research lab on campus. When it comes to education, I firmly believe in two things. Number one, everyone can learn, and number two not knowing or understanding something does not reflect our value. We are all incredibly worthwhile, and we can succeed. I love helping people learn and find it incredibly rewarding. My favorite topics are biology, math, writing, and composition. I love these subjects because they lead people, perhaps more than in any other way, to lead happier, more fulfilling lives.
