I am an attorney and educator. I have over a decade of classroom experience. I worked as an Elementary school teacher and as a high school English and Social Science teacher.

In my retirement, I earned a certificate in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL). I have over two years of experience teaching Engish to Chinese students on an online platform. I have successfully taught almost 1500 one-on-one English classes. I have learned to adapt my teaching experience to effectively teach students online.

Hobbies

I love to spend my time outdoors! I am an avid fisherman. I'm not good at it, and a tutor would be nice, but I never stop trying to catch some bass, catfish, or crappie. I love animals. I have two dogs, two cats, a degu, a gecko, and a ball python. I would like to buy a blue-tongue skink and another snake. I have four grandkids. I enjoy keeping up with their lives including their schoolwork and their sports. A ten-hour trip to see my grandkids play a soccer game is a dream vacation for me. Also, I enjoy pickleball, bridge, and learning new technical skills.
