I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, but currently reside in Louisiana. I hold a Bachelors of Education in Chemistry from ASU, and I am working on a Masters of Natural Sciences in Physics. I was studying Chemical Engineering before I decided to switch to the Teachers College to earn my degree in Education. I tutored during college, and it was my great love of working with students one-on-one that eventually led me to choose a teaching career.

I have taught AP Chemistry, AP Physics, Conceptual physics, regular and honors chemistry, and algebra 1 at different schools around the valley. I currently teach for an online high school based in AZ.

In addition to family life and teaching, I love photography, writing, reading, hiking, camping, canyoneering, and swimming. I have actually cayoneered down Tapestry canyon and camped at the bottom of Horseshoe Bend, and I hope to one day visit Havasupai Fall
