Hello! I have a B.S. and a M.S. both in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland. After college I have worked in the technical field working mostly as a research scientist. Although I am an engineer by training, I am a mathematician at heart. As a college freshman, I received credit for Calculus I and II by scoring high enough on the CLEP test. Therefore, as a college freshman, I took Calculus III (Vector Analysis) and Calculus IV (Differential Equations). Before entering graduate school, I took the GRE and scored a perfect score of 800 in the math section. I am currently a college tutor for Missouri State University. I tutor math up to trigonometry and college algebra, general chemistry, and physics. I have tutored about 40 college students from various backgrounds and age groups. I tutor methodically and asking my students after each step whether they followed what I did. If they did not, I would explain it until they understood. This way I know that they understood how to solve the problem completely. For hobbies, I like to play my flute and will take piano lessons soon. I enjoy singing, too and would like to take dancing lessons in the future.
